She changed my medicine to Zoloft and Topamax. Since Migrain's run in our family with the females and my sisters dd has them along with my two dd's, I ask her if she would at least try me on this combo and she said if it worked for one in the family it just might work for two! So I'm not off the Paxil and on Zoloft for ...

I had planned to just go diagonally both ways across it, but now I'm having second thoughts and wondering if just going in the ditch around it might be better. The only thing is, I think I would drive myself mad with all the starting and stopping involved with that and am trying to make this as painless as possible.

Mom had said to go in the ditch and another friend made the same pattern and said ...

Ok, hands up, you know you want to host a swap! Now is your chance!

We need someone to host a mini quilt swap, like Betweens did only this one christmas themed. Easy to do, no posting out of blocks or anything, just collecting names, organising who swaps with who (most people use a random # generator online for that) and letting everyone know who their recipient is etc.

Can someone help out please? T'would be much appreciated

Hope you get more MT, you surely need it. Its been raining here all day so far, that good steady soaking rain, not really heavy, blowing across in curtains, the temp has stated to drop in the last half hour though its currently 51 (10c) and supposed to read 61 (16c) but I dont think thats going to happen, might have to light the fire if the temp keeps dropping or find something to cook slow in the oven to take the chill off the air LOL

Last night I started machine quilting on a quilt for my husband for Christmas. Got 1 row of stippling completed. About 8 inches by the length of the quilt which is about 75 to 80 inches. I decided to stipple because I couldn't think of anything inspiring to do. While I was putting it away, I noticed that the backing had an absolutely perfect pattern to outline and become the quilting motif for the front. The quilting would have been easier than the stippling AND would have fit the quilt ...

I started a new book last night at bed time and couldn't put it down!! The title is " My Heart Remembers " by Kim Vogel Sawyer. I read 119 pages and then discovered it was 2 AM!! Very good read about three kids that were orphaned when their place burned with parents still in it, and each of the three kids were taken in by three different people in different places and they try to find one another as they grow up. Can't wait to get back to it, it's sure a page turner!! Norma

I went to the quilt store today to specifically buy fabric for a baby quilt. Brought the wallpaper border to do some matching, but forgot the pattern book that contained the quilt pattern.

Good Luck:

Got home and discovered a quilt store 25% off coupon in the mail from the quilt store. It's for Nov. 21st, but I can be patient. SCORE!

I know if you use the method where you use squares and stitch 1/4 inch to each side of a center line and cut apart, you need to cut the squares 7/8 larger than the finished size. Example: 2 x 2 finished HST would be made from a square 2-7/8 x 2-7/8.

If you want 2 x 4 Rectangles, do you cut the original rectangle 2-7/8 x 4-7/8?

I'm appalled at the naivete of the military who dealt with this monster. Our society doesn't do a very good job of removing dangerous people. Mental health facilities used to at least assess the mindset of people who misbehaved enough to end up in court. Now those dollars get eaten up by people like the courthouse shooter here in Atlanta.

My adolescence convinced me that violence lurks everywhere. I have to add that experience taught me that most people are decent.
