Hello Ladies,

Finally got all the cross-stitching done for the baby quilt I have been working on for the past 1 1/2 years. (I haven't felt much like I am a quilter.) I am now starting the actual quilting part. I am quilting blocks around the designs to look like baby's blocks. The squares are 8" x 9" and there are 16 squares (as one can see in the avatar) and now I'm anxious to get it done. The quilting is going faster than the cross-stitching. LOL I am hand-quilting. ...

I am so thrilled to be able to tell all of you this news. My sister-in-law received her test results today. If you remember she has been undergoing chemo weekly for Cirrhosis of the liver caused by HepC and she also had 5 brain tumors before this chemo started.

Tonite she is cancer free and has only 1 brain tumor left. The chemo was NOT to treat the brain tumor, only the cirrhosis.

I am so excited for her and my DB and their future!!!! Thank you all for your prayers and best wishes!

FEMALE HEART ATTACKS

I was aware that female heart attacks are different, but this is the best description I've ever read. Women and heart attacks (Myocardial infarction--MI). Did you know that women rarely have the same dramatic symptoms that men have when experiencing heart attack...you know, the sudden stabbing pain in the chest, the cold sweat, grabbing the chest &??dropping to the floor that we see in the movies. Here is the story of one woman's experience with a heart attack. ...

Are any of you going to the Quilt Show this year in Columbus, Ohio? I'm not sure when it's going to be and that's something I'll try to find out.

If so I'd love to meet you. Maybe we could all get together somewhere and have lunch.

I'm going to see if Ohio Quilter wants to make plans to go. Last year she was having her knee replaced and wasn't able to go. I'm sure she'd love to meet up with all of you too.

That city won't be the same if we do!
