As I have been cruising about the site here...I have discovered a few things...

1. If you are looking for topics that you have posted in...one way to find them is:

From the home page, when you click on a Catagory ie Announcements & News there will be a tiny icon in front of the thread name on threads you have posted in.

2. From the home page if you click on "View posts since last visit" (upper right corner). You will get a list of topics since your last vist (duh)...BUT ...

Sometimes when we post links to things the URL ends up real long and stretches the forum page. It seems to do that especially on links to books and that sort of thing on other sites. There's a site that will give you a way to post a shorter link if you'd like to. You can add it to your tool bar for easy access. It's called TinyURL..here's a link.

Also wonder about cost for running this site, I don't think anyone expects one person to pick up the tab for this site.

Storage amounts, should we stay away from posting pictures?

I know when we first moved here I was a little flustered at everything being so different. I didn't think to look at the top where it says: ?FAQ. That's a drop down list of Frequently Asked Questions. There's a lot of info there about how to do your settings and how the site works. Just thought I'd mention it in case anybody else is feeling a little overwhelmed right now. ;) I know I was sitting here muttering to myself and unsure of where to go for info.
